Great Bear Rainforest - Located on the central coast of British Columbia, Canada, the Great Bear Rainforest is one of the largest remaining temperate rainforests in the world. Encompassing an area of approximately 6.4 million hectares, it is home to significant populations of grizzly bears, salmon, and the rare white Kermode bear, also known as the "spirit bear."
