This lake is 33 km long and considered as Alberta’s largest man made lake. This lake is beautiful and has amazing turquoise water in it but the fact that distinguish it from other lake is that it causes frozen bubbles to form under the ice on lake’s surface and it is visible and make it beautiful. This is caused by decaying plants on the surface of lake when they release methane gas.
