Updated: 03:33 GMT, 13 February 2025 A British woman who was found dead alongside her husband in France was 'smiley' and positive hours before she was bludgeoned to death, one of the last people to see her has claimed. Dawn Searle, 56, and her husband Andrew Searle, 65, were found by a neighbour at their property in in the hamlet of Les Pesquiès, south of Villefranche-de-Rouergue, on Thursday last week. A neighbour of the British couple found Mrs Searle lying dead in front of her house, 'partly undressed', and called the emergency services at 12.27am, prosecutors said. The body of Mr Searle was found hanged inside the house.
