Nachtwey decided to go to Somalia in 1992. He went to document the horror of the famine. This most horrifying photo of a women in wheel narrow waiting to be taken to feeding center. Her dying condition opens the minds of the people towards the famine. Beside that you can see another extremely weak and dying person. After the publication of this photo Red Cross received high support and they were able to save one and a half million people.
