Dolphins have been observed exhibiting altruistic behavior towards other species. There have been numerous accounts of dolphins rescuing stranded or injured animals, such as whales and humans. They have even protected swimmers and surfers from potential shark encounters, seemingly sensing danger and guiding them to safety.
