The cast of Gavin and Stacey have revealed the precious items they managed to steal from set on the final day of filming the last ever episode of the hit BBC show.
The finale to the fan favourite comedy is set to air on Christmas Day, and viewers will be tuning in to watch what happened after Nessa (Ruth Jones), 58, proposed to Smithy (James Corden), 46, five years ago.
While fans will be excited to see what happens in the final episode, for the cast it was an emotional experience.
But, to remember their time filming the now iconic show, the cast made sure to take home a memento from the set.
For Ruth Jones, who played Nessa, the most important thing she could sneak away from set was an ornament from Gwen's house.
The actress revealed she took home an egg holder, saying: 'I stole the glazed egg holder from Gwen’s that always sat on the windowsill in her kitchen! The one that’s shaped like a hen.'
While Ruth managed to limit herself to just one thing, Joanna Page revealed she left the show with armfuls of Stacey's precious items.
She said: 'I have definitely snuck some memorabilia home… I have got all of Stacey's costume from the final episode, all of her shoes and her jewellery.
'Also, I've taken a framed painting home from Stacey and Gwen's house, and I also took this glass ornamental duck, which is an ornament from Stacey's sideboard in the living room.'
Matthew Horne revealed the heartbreaking reasons he asked for one prop in particular, sharing that he asked for a daffodil engraving to remind him of his mother who had recently passed away.
He said: 'I already have something from Gwen’s house from the last special. There was a beautiful antique engraving of some daffodils.
'When we shot the last special I’d not long lost my mother whose favourite flower was the daffodil, so I asked our production designer for the piece from set and he kindly gave it to me.'
But he also revealed that he made sure to take something of Gavin's as well, adding: 'He [the production designer] also framed Gavin’s office door sign from early series, which I treasure.
Melanie Walters added that while she made sure to take some of Gwen's clothes and bags, they weren't really her style and even suggested she might donate some of her spoils to charity.
