Journalist was stopped from receiving award!
A Pulitzer-winning photojournalist from Indian-administered Kashmir has said she was barred from travelling to the US to collect her award.
Sanna Irshad Mattoo was awarded the prize for her coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic and said she was stopped by immigration authorities at Delhi airport.
Ms Mattoo said she was stopped "despite having a valid visa and ticket" and added she was “heartbroken”, describing the Pulitzer as a "dream for every journalist".
The Indian government has not made a statement yet on why she was barred.
