Paris Jackson Shares Candid Reaction to 'Getting a Lot of Flack' for Sheer Fashion Week Dress

Paris Jackson isn't fazed by those who critique her sense of style.
On Friday, March 7, the singer, 26, shared on her Instagram Stories that she had received “a good amount of flack” for wearing a sheer black dress to Stella McCartney's show during Paris Fashion Week.
“We're animals. At one point, we abided by the laws of nature,” Jackson said, while filming from her bed. “… There was a harmony [that] worked really well for the planet until one day, humans decided we're not animals, we're going to wear clothes and we're gonna rule over all the other animals."
"...And a segregation was born and spoiler alert, that's why s---- got really bad,” she added.
Jackson attended the Stella McCartney womenswear fall/winter show in a black off-the-shoulder sheer gown in organza silk from the brand’s Spring 2025 collection during Paris Fashion Week on March 5.
She said in another clip on her Instagram Stories while discussing the outfit, “I don't really understand why the human body is a driving force for such discomfort in so many people. It’s just a body … we look at other naked animals all the time … we're just animals.”
The singer-songwriter then urged fans, “Don't get uncomfortable with our bodies,” adding, “There's nothing wrong with it.”
“It’s not that big of a deal … stop freaking out about nipples man!” Jackson concluded.
The daughter of the late singer Michael Jackson, followed up her video post with a photo of her posing in another racy outfit. She donned a sheer black ruffled dress as she tagged the fashion house Chloé.
