Rio Ferdinand has insisted Ibrahima Konate should have been shown a red card after the Liverpool defender appeared to shove Bradley Barcola when the PSG star was through on goal.
The Reds were caught off guard by a ball over the top in the 25th minute and Barcola looked to be bearing down on Alisson's goal.
But the Liverpool centre-back appeared to shove Barcola in the back, leading to the VAR checking for a possible red card.
After a two-minute check, the officials decided against any further action, much to the surprise of Ferdinand on commentary and then again during the half-time analysis.
'That's a foul,' said the Manchester United icon while commenting on the TNT Sports game. 'And that's in his back, that's a foul. It's a red card.'
'It's that's not a red card, I'll be amazed,' added Ferdinand during the VAR checks.
