The biggest lake in the world: Great Slave Lake
The great slave is 27,000km2, the 2nd largest lake in Northwest Territories of Canada and the world’s 10th largest lake on earth. Great Slave Lake is near, 100 miles wide, and 300 miles extended and its staggering depth is about 600 meters. Different towns sit on its edge, a few of them are; Hay River, Fort Resolution, and Yellowknife. In winter due to the cold temperature the lake freezes over which is carved by the citizens as an ice road to have a shortcut between Yellowknife and Dettah. Rest of the year the lake is a hotspot for the angler, fishers and sailors.
