Congo rainforest basin is the only home of all three species of gorilla including lowland gorilla, the endangered mountain gorilla and endemic lowland gorilla.

Valdivian Rainforest is the only rainforest in the world that consists of Glaciers.

Tongass forest is the largest National forest of USA. It is a temperate rainforest that is home to a large number of endangered species of flora and fauna. It covers total area of 68000-kilometer square. This forest consists of Island, Mountains, and Glaciers.
